GILLES ARZUL est né en 1951.
En 1980, après avoir suivi ses études à l'école des Beaux Arts, il décida de consacrer tous ses efforts à la peinture. Il participe au salon des Indépendants, au salon d'Automne, aux Artistes Français et une rétrospective lui est consacrée à la Bourse de Nantes en 1994.
Il expose régulièrement en France, aux Etats-Unis en Grande Bretagne et à Singapour.
En 2005 , première présentation en Suisse à Genolier
Ses toiles font parties de collections américaines, japonaises, anglaises, belges suisses ou françaises.
Deux monographies lui sont déjà consacrées.
